Ideal Vending Environmental Policy
Ideal Services Scotland Ltd fully supports the Company Corporate Environmental Statement and recognises the positive contribution that implementation of carefully considered, continually monitored, progressive environmental practices can have on ecological protection and sustainable development. With this aim in mind the Division will:
- Implement systems and procedures designed to ensure that the requirements of relevant Environmental Legislation and Regulations are met or exceeded.
- Operate systems and procedures to monitor environmental performance and set challenging, realistic objectives and targets aimed at promoting continual improvement to its environmental performance.
- Focus on minimising the use of raw materials in its processes, reducing the use of energy and where practicable, use materials that can be reused or recycled.
- Endeavour to minimise waste in its processes and where this is unavoidable arrange for reuse or recycling where practicable.
- Implement systems and procedures to ensure that all employees are conscious of their environmental responsibilities and are aware of the Company’s Environmental Policy. The company will provide adequate training to ensure employees can discharge their environmental responsibilities.
- Recognise the close relationship between environmental issues and the Health and Safety of its employees together with that of its contractors and the public. To ensure that Health and Safety is not compromised, environmental risk assessments will consider Health and Safety implications as appropriate.
- Reduce wherever practicable the level of harmful discharges to the atmosphere, land and water.
- Assess processes for environmental aspects and impact and opportunities to reduce pollution.
- Encourage high environmental standards by other parties involved in its business, such as contractors, suppliers and vendors.
