How Vending Miser Saves Energy & £’s

Powers off cold drink vending machines when the area around them is unoccupied for 15 minutes and the completion of the next compressor cycle.
Eliminates heat source from evaporator fan that lies within a vending machine’s cold box cabinet, thereby reducing refrigeration load.
Repowers the machine periodically for one compressor cycle to ensure contents are kept cool.

Vending Miser uses three different technologies:
Passive Infrared sensor to detect occupancy
Compressor monitoring sensor to determine optimum times for machine switch off and prevent “short Cycling” of it’s compressor
Room temperature sampling while in energy saving mode . (re-powers the machine in 1 to 3 hour intervals to maintain product temperature)
